American Prototype

American Prototype is proud to have over 30 years of experience in machining scientific instrumentation in many diverse industries, ranging from electron microscopy to life sciences.
For 12 years Blaine, worked as a Laboratory Mechanical Technician in Stanford University’s Physics Department. He left his position in 1989 and started American Prototype.
This high-tech San Francisco based facility serves Stanford University and San Francisco State University, as well as government agencies, such as the NASA Ames Research Center & the U.S. Geological Survey, US-GS.
However, Blaine’s old website was dated, not mobile-friendly and did not accurately portray the down-to-the-millimeter precision involved with Blaine’s day to day business.
We sent Blaine a free website mock up and he liked it and immediately reached out, had some clear ideas of his own, how he thought his business should be presented online, and he was absolutely right
Working with Blaine was a pleasure, communication was excellent, and there’s nothing better than a client/customer who knows what they want.

What They Had To Say . . .
Shortly after the website was completed here’s what Blaine had to say about the experience of working with us:
“Once in a while things work out better than you ever planned for, this was my experience with Chris at Wonderful websites.
Chris and Kylene are responsive and listen to your ideas, it’s wonderful to have a vision and see it come to life. I have been getting many positive reviews on my new site and feel very good about the entire experience. The price was fair, the quality excellent and the communication was always strong.
At first I was apprehensive about using a Web developer a few thousand miles away, but after a phone conversation and seeing a sample page I was convinced they were the right choice. I look forward to working Chris in the future.
Best of luck!
