We charge $75/hr for our work. In the universe of web developers and designers, this is “the middle of the pack.” Many charge more, some charge less. I know you came to this page hoping to see how much it’s going to cost you to hire us to build your website. Unfortunately, that is not possible, as we need to know a bit more information about you, your goals, and your company beforehand.
What I can tell you is this: regardless of what your budget is, we will try our very best to make this work. I can guarantee we’ve worked with people with less money than you. And I can guarantee we’ve worked with people with more money than you.
We love building websites and helping people just like you to get more customers. We’re very flexible in how we get paid – but just like you, we need to get paid.
We’ve built really nice-looking websites in as little as 20 hours ($1500) and we’ve built websites that have taken 200 hours ($15,000) and pretty much everything in between. If I had to pick a “typical” amount of hours (and I hate to do that because in the world of websites, like in business, there really isn’t any such thing as typical) I’d say most of our sites come in at around 40-60 hours ($4-6,000).
Things that can add to the price include elements such as e-commerce, video, forums, memberships, etc.
Things that can lower the price include you being okay with a site that maybe isn’t quite so “customized,” but rather based on a template of some sort or at the very least using a design we’ve used before. Customization takes time. But more often than not it’s worth the investment. You should know that if these numbers intimidate you at all (or even if they don’t), you should call me on my personal cell phone.
